India Currently Has 3,600 Deeptech New companies, Positions sixth Around the world: Nasscom
India currently positions 6th among the best nine deeptech environments internationally, a Nasscom report said.

New Delhi: India currently positions 6th among the best nine deeptech environments internationally with 3,600 such new companies, which got $850 million subsidizing last year, a Nasscom report said on Thursday.
From 3,600 new companies, north of 480 were laid out last year — twice higher than the number laid out in 2022 – – as per the report by Nasscom and Zinnov.

Of these 480 new businesses sent off in 2023, more than 100 are “creative deeptech firms that have created licensed innovation or imaginative arrangements in new spaces.”

Outstandingly, 74% of the deeptech new companies laid out this year have focused on simulated intelligence, a huge increment from 62% in the period from 2014 to 2022.

Deeptech new businesses like Agnikul, GalaxyEye, HealthPlix, Sarvam man-made intelligence and Peptris, among others, are arising in areas of healthtech, maintainability, computer based intelligence and space-tech and so forth.

“Regions, for example, artificial intelligence, quantum processing, space-tech, cutting edge advanced mechanics and others will meet up in fascinating ways and be applied across each area from schooling, amusement, trade, agribusiness, modern assembling, versatility, and a few others,” said Jeyandran Venugopal, Seat, Nasscom DeepTech Gathering.
