The preliminary in France of a man accused of enrolling many aliens to assault his vigorously calmed spouse has shaken French society and must in a general sense change connections among people, an examiner said Monday.
“This preliminary is stirring up our general public in our relationship with one another, in the most close connections between people,” Jean-Francois Mayet told the court in the southern city of Avignon.
The preliminary is making French society work “to comprehend our necessities, our feelings, our cravings or more all to consider those of others,” he said.
What is in question, he added, “isn’t a conviction or an exoneration” yet “to on a very basic level change the relations among people,” he added.
The indictment is framing its requests for the condemning of the 51 men being investigated, including the principal denounced Dominique Pelicot, the previous spouse of the casualty Gisele Pelicot.
