The Farakka Blast is arranged on the Ganga Stream in West Bengal’s Murshidabad region. It is found around 18 km from the boundary with Bangladesh.
The development of the Farakka Torrent started in 1962 and was finished in 1970 at an expense of almost USD 1 billion. The torrent formally initiated procedure on April 21, 1975.
