“The loss of life remains at 70 up until this point,” Kumar Tsukwam, the top of the Government Street Wellbeing Corps (FRSC) in Niger State, told AFP by phone.
Tsukwam said a truck conveying 60,000 liters of gas had a mishap Saturday around 10:00 am (0900 GMT) at the Dikko intersection out and about connecting the government capital Abuja toward the northern city of Kaduna.
